He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gertrude "Gertie"; his children, David (Linda) and Gail Kovacs (Bill); his grandchildren, Bill Kovacs, Jr., Daniel Kovacs (Danielle), Keirra, Eva and Nolan Kovacs; and his siblings, Vilma Gyory (Jim) and Paul Kozma.
