He is survived by: his parents, Frank Gustav Bayer and Elizabeth Roskinski Bayer; his sister Trudy; his wife Kathryn Phillips Bayer; his children, Tina Seafler (Dan), Ann Matuch (Jeff) and Mike Bayer (Jean); his stepdaughters, Andrea Phillips (Matt Besecker) and Lauren Phillips (Moe Seita); his grandchildren, David Reynolds (Kelly), Jennifer May, Rachel Seafler (Greg Luks), Danny Seafler, Nick Matuch, Olivia Matuch, Sam Matuch, Cheyne Bayer, Chloe Hollenbaugh, Jacob Bayer, Jude, Evan, Kira, Aden and Lila Phillips; his great grandchildren, Darian, Ava, Laeric and Aaliyah; his sister Gertude (Harvey Leggette); and his stepson Jay (Tana). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
