It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Karpen in Brecksville, Ohio, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Walter C. Karpen; her parents, Charles Karnosh and Elizabeth Karnosh; and her sisters, Jacqueline Bernard and Rita Shankland.

She is survived by: her children, Charles (Yi), James (Kathy) and Judy Demchak (Brad); her grandchildren, Jessica Sullivan (Dan), Tim Karpen (Christine), Dana Demchak and Hayley Demchak; and her great grandchildren, Wes, Everett and Beau. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
