He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his siblings, Ray (Florence) and Clara. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff and Gary (Margaret); his grandchildren, Nick (Laura) and Emily; and his great grandchildren, David and Mary Lou.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Friends of the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter https://fccas.org.
