She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Ney and Mabel Ney (Stephenson); her husband Paul "Barney"; her son John Gary Firsdon; and her siblings, James Coldwell (Hilda), Thomas Coldwell, Jean Gonyer and Elizabeth Eberly.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Firsdon; her daughters, Christine Buckingham of Rossford and Carrie Staerker of Perrysburg, Ohio; her grandchildren, Nick Burton (Gina), Kelsie Burton, Cole Burton (Stephanie), Lindsey Jividen (James) and Madison McGinnis (Ian); her siblings-in-law, Joanie Coldwell of Dundee, MI and John Eberly of Holgate, Ohio.; and her pet Poppy. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Bridge Home Health & Hospice.
