He is survived by: his parents, Carl Bowers and Sandy Bowers; his children, Amanda Cantrell of Troy, Andrea Cantrell (Jared Knick) of Laura and Jack McCarroll of Bradford; his grandchildren, Penelope Knick and Jackson McCarroll; and his siblings, Todd Bowers, Tammy Baker (Russ Stoops) and Tim Bowers (Tracy).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Pink Ribbon Girls.
