He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Bayless (Carine); his sons, James Bayless (Connie) and Mark Bayless (Kristi); his son-in-law Craig Canan; and his siblings, Pauline Harmon, Ruth Reed, Dorothy Rhoades and Robert "Bob" Bayless.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Bayless (Diane), Jerry Bayless (Maria) and Judy Bayless-Canan; and his grandchildren, Frani Bayless, Jeff Bayless (Sara), Joe Bayless, Jeremy Bayless (Chandra), Jessica Lavy (Jake), Amber Hoop (Nick Mentrup), Tara Bayless (Steve Bailey), Justin Bayless (Abby), CJ Canan and Haley Canan. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bradford Fire & Rescue or Ohio Hospice of Miami County.
