He is survived by: his wife Doris J. Shafer (Horner); his sons, Chad (Lisa Shafer) and Jonathan Shafer of Bradford; his grandchildren, David Shafer, Shelby Shafer and Max Shafer; and his sister Mary Gershim of Miamisburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
