He was predeceased by: his stepfather Louis Bruns. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Patterson; his children, John R. Patterson of Bradford, Edward J. Patterson of Piqua and Jamie (Vern Gudorf) of Houston; his granddaughters, Alishia Patterson and Makayla Gudorf; and his siblings, Henry "Hank" (Marie Patterson), Doug (Sue Bruns), Toni Bruns and Ted Bruns of Sidney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
