It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lavy (Bradford, Ohio), born in Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on October 21, 2008, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lavy and Mary Lavy (Graybill); his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Lavy (Hogston); his parents-in-law, William and Dorothy Hogston; his brother-in-law Bruce Hogston; and also Kay Hilleary.

He is survived by: his sons, John Jr. (Sue) of Bradford and Joseph "Joe" of Bradford; his siblings, Melvin Lavy (Maxine) of Bradford, Marge Smith of Bradford and Mary Jean Lavy of Gettysburg; his siblings-in-law, George Hilleary of Decatur, AL and Carol Hogston of Piqua; his grandchildren, Rachel Kathleen Warner (Jamey) of Bradford and Levi John Lavy of Bradford; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Kathleen and Kyndra Warner. He is also survived by one aunt and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
