He was predeceased by: his son John Hershey; his brother Eugene Hershey; and his half-siblings, David McCraner, Kevin McCraner and Pam Walls.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Hershey; his daughters, Judy (Jim Bunck), Trisha (Scott Bradley), Rhonda (Howard Maston) and Jennifer (Mike Reed); his daughter-in-law Kim Hershey of Greenville; his stepchildren, Sherri, Curt Lingo of Bradford, Lee, Leslie Anne Harmon of Covington, Charla and Jeremy Evans of Plains City, OH; his siblings, Mike Hershey of Columbus and Phyllis; and his brother-in-law Jack Kirk of Piqua. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County or Bradford Community Club.
