He was predeceased by: his brother Jim Kissinger; and his brother-in-law Barry Kimmel. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kissinger (Reeder); his children, Terry Kissinger (Lori Pease) of Troy and Melissa Haas (Andy Spillman) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Ashley Ducket (Steven) of Troy, Vincent Kissinger of Dayton and D. J. Kissinger; his great grandchild Emma Ducket; and his siblings, Steve Kissinger (Bonnie) of Piqua, Mike Kissinger of Marion and Donna Kimmel of Versailles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Giving to churches and charities was important to Gene and he made the request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the church or charity of your choice.
