She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Grote and Goldie Grote (Hill); her daughter Dixie Thompson; her brother Jim Grote; and her brother-in-law Ivan (Dorothy Rhoades).

She is survived by: her husband Lloyd; her daughter Patricia J. Rhoades; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Tyler Myers, Angie, Clarence Godwin, Jason and Courtney Thompson; her great grandchildren, Lexi Myers, Berkley Myers, Andrew Godwin, Adam Godwin, Abby Thompson and Pierce Thompson; and her son-in-law Mike Thompson. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
