He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Abbott and Norma Abbott (Wooley); and his wife Veronica Abbott. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Abbott (Angie Delk), Jennifer Persinger (Danny) and Jessica Jones (Sam) of Little River, SC; his siblings, Brian Abbott (Cathy), Kay Hogh (Sidney), Cheryl Ball and Debra Abbott; his grandchildren, Shawn Wright (Alica), Naomi Pieper, Jaxon Jones, Taylor Delk and Tyler Delk; and his great grandchild Emmett Wright.
