It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Balzer (Braceville, Ohio), born in Warren, Ohio, who passed away on April 6, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Albert Balzer and Mable Agnes Balzer (Russell); his wife Betty Lou Petersen; and his brothers, Stephen and Daniel E. Balzer.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Young of Southington, OH, Stephan (Jennifer Balzer) and William (Cindy Balzer Jr.); and his siblings, Sharyn McCurdy of Warren, OH, Francis (Tom Strock), Doris Ferraro of Streetsboro, OH, Pearl Balzer of Braceville and Ted Balzer of Newton Falls. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
The family has requested that all donations be made to the Trumbull County 4-H Endowment Fund, Ohio State University Extension 4-H Program 520 West Main St. Suite 1 Cortland, OH 44410 in his memory.
