She was predeceased by: her parents, Carol Speerstra-Gernentz and Craig Gernentz. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Dustin (Kat), Owen (Megan), Alexis Mendik (Drew) and Stephanie Morris (Tyler); her siblings, Debi Gordon (George), Marci Gierlach (Richie), Dawnell Gernentz (Kate) and Greg Baugher (Amber); and her stepmother Terri Gernentz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home (533 N Park Ave, Warren, OH 44481). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Melissa's honor to the Diles Charitable Foundation, who were so kind and gracious to her family throughout her battle with cancer.
