He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Gintert and Clara Gintert (Clark); and his siblings, Kathryn Roberts and Harold Gintert. He is survived by: his wife Jean Marie Gintert of Braceville; his children, Janice Gibson (Timothy) of Braceville, Marty Gintert (Carolyn) of Toledo, Randy Gintert of Braceville and Rory Gintert of Hartland; and his sisters, Frances Spahlinger (Merrill) of Lake Milton and Donna Lee Clifford of Braceville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
The family has requested that all donations please be made to the Alfred Lopez Memorial Athletic Scholarship Fund.
