She was predeceased by: her father Clensey Broome Sr.; her former husband Bertryl Flinn; her mother Ursie Broome; her siblings, Rosco, Kenneth, Ronald, Clensey, Jr., Jacqueline, Theresa and Kay Broome; her nephew Rosco Broome Jr.; her great grandchild Imani Warren Tolbert; and her grandchild JasLynn.
She is survived by: her fiancé James Fitch; her stepson James Jr. The; her close friend Bertryl Flinn; her children, Adrian, Valerie Fitch-Tolbert and Carmen Fitch (Xavier); her adoptive daughter Laura Freeman; her stepsons, James Butler (Awilda), Adrianne Burkett, Jermaine Gamble and Marlon Parker; her grandchildren, Carmen Tolbert, Emmett Tolbert III, Shawndra Bickley (Dan) and Melissa Fitch; and her siblings, Howard Broome (Barbara) and Sherry Ferris. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
