He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse Carsey; and his sister Marilyn Cade. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hood; his children, Gary Carsey (Kathy) of LaFollette, Jan Wilkin (Paul) of Columbus and Alan Carsey (Sandi) of Bowling Green; his brother Max Carsey (Sally); his grandchildren, Emily Mace (Robert), Katy Wilkin (Nigel Arruda), Seth Edwards (Katie Cliff) and Camden Carsey (Dayna); and his great grandchild Jones Carsey.

Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to Gideon's International or Weston Church of Christ.
