It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Coburn (Bowling Green, Ohio), born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on September 8, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Her favorite song to play on the accordion was 'Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White". She was a devout Christian Scientist, dedicating much of her time to the church Reading Room and music program. She is survived by her brother, John A. Schaaf; and sister, Mary K. Schaaf; and leaves behind her son, Bruce A. Coburn (wife, Beth); and daughter, Kris E. Franca (husband, Rich); and grandchildren, Erin M. Coburn and Nash R. Franca. Interment will be at Bluelick Cemetery, Lima, Ohio with a private ceremony for immediate family. In lieu of flowers or donations, Ruthie would want everyone to smile at fond memories of her and think about all the good things that she did over her life.
