He is survived by: his wife Ruby Nell Bland; his children, John Emmerich (Ann) of Bowling Green, Linda Kinlaw (Charles) of Bladenboro and Jeff Emmerich (Tina) of New Bern; his grandchildren, Amy, Tim, Bethany, Lauren, Christopher, Andrew, Joshua and Heather; his great grandchildren, Emily, Angela, Benjamin and Jackson; and his brother Robert Emmerich of Haines City.
