He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McDonald and Flora McDonald (Steiner); his wife Nancy L. Hummel; his children, Terri Schaller (Tom) of Perrysburg, Ohio, Daniel McDonald (Jennifer) of Denver and Steven McDonald (Jennifer) of Kent, Ohio; his sisters, Claudell Wolford of Pemberville, Kay Chapman (Leonard) of Bloomdale and Carol Wright (Vaughn) of Bloomdale; his grandchildren, Bryan Schaller (Elizabeth), Heather Schaller, Jordan McDonald, Kaylee McDonald, Jacob McDonald, Sean McDonald, Zachary McDonald, Nick Ellis (Julita) and Samantha Ellis; his great grandchildren, Case and Greyson Schaller; and his siblings, Helen Kauffman, Robert, Lewis and LeRoy McDonald.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barndt Funeral Home (121 W South St, Wayne, OH 43466). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
