He was predeceased by: his father George "Skip" Main. He is survived by: his son Chase (Lisa) of Bowling Green; his significant other Jill Bixler; his granddaughter Aimee; and his sister Linda Compton (Sam) of Bowling Green. He is also survived by several nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Bridge Hospice.
