She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow McGill and Addie McGill (Wolfe); and her husband Charles Ray Smith. She is survived by: her children, Linda Gray (Howard) and Dennis (Laurie Sondergeld); her grandchildren, Tricia Hastings, Greg Plassman, Bryant Gray, Neil Smith and Ryan Smith; her brother Larry Bishop of Vienna; and her uncle Ralph Wolfe of North Baltimore, Ohio.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
