He was predeceased by: his parents, Curt E Buckingham and Frieda A Buckingham (Whitney); his siblings, Raedel Bishop, Carl (Betty) and Lowell E (Sharon); and his former wife Wilma M (Crile).
He is survived by: his children, Joyce E Rogers (Willie) and Steve L Buckingham (Jeanie); his grandsons, Joel D Rogers (Jessica) of Brunswick and Paul J Rogers (Sadie) of Clyde; his spouse Ruah Swartz; his stepchildren, Richard Shedron (Melinda), Lou Ann Otte (Thom) of Bowling Green and Marlene Lane of Lake Arrowhead, CA.; his stepgrandchildren, Kevin Otte and Ashley Lane; and also Jackson P Rogers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barndt Funeral Home (121 W South St, Wayne, OH 43466). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
