He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Scott" Carpenter and Vondah Carpenter (Doe); and his sisters, Kim Wagoner, Leslie Rison and Jackie Kwasigroh.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Ebka; his brother William Carpenter; his father-in-law Robert Ebka (Lois); and his sisters-in-law, Pam Flick (Rick) and Barb Sergent (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
