He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sockman and Mary Sockman (Roebke); and his parents-in-law, Warren Myers and Maxine Myers. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Sockman (Myers); his children, Nicole Wentz (Scott), Jay Sockman (Kelly) and Cliff Sockman (Elise); his grandchildren, Kayla, Maddie, Sam, Alyssa, Hunter, Ava and Madison; his brother Tom; and also, Judy Scherff of Florida and Tom Sockman of Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the Wood County Humane Society.
