He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Dalton and Lori Dalton (Franzen). He is survived by: his wife Ginger Dalton (Brown) of Bowling Green, Ohio; his daughters, Jennifer Henschen (Christopher) of Bowling Green, Ohio and Marce Hobbs (Sam) of Bellefourche; his grandchildren, Cailyn, Riley, Grace, Aubrie, Jordan, Selah, Cole, Cody and Jubilee; his great grandchildren, Athena and Brailee; and his siblings, Nancy Gorrell, Ernest Dalton (Donna) and Stuart Dalton.

Those attending the service in person will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution in John's honor may be gifted to Bridge Hospice.
