He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lotz and Ruth Lotz (Poling); his former wife Shirley Lotz (Hartman); his grandchildren, David Coleman and Jessica Coleman; his brother Norman "Gene" Lotz; and his stepson Gregory Fulford.
He is survived by: his wife Carrol; his children, Cheryl Rudolph (Douglas), Douglas Lotz (Darlene) and Shawn Allport (James "Duke"); his stepdaughter Robin Mancuso (Thomas); and his sister Susan Shull. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
