He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Harshman and Altha Harshman (Jimison). He is survived by: his brother Albert Harshman (Carmen); his former wife Lynn Varallo Harshman; and his wife Rita Jean Frantzich Harshman of Idaho. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

We had many conversations from craft stuff to military stories and shared interest in wood crafts, he gave me a few wood pieces he made that I will now remember him by. Although it is sad to know he has passed, I am at ease knowing he is no longer in pain. Rest In Peace Jim”
