He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Nelson and Gertrude Nelson; his wife Mary Lee (McKinney); his sons, John Nelson (Donna) of Whitehouse, Gary Nelson (Jan) of Bowling Green and Rick Nelson (Marsha) of Luckey; and his sister Joann Brickles. He was also cherished by three sons, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, the family has chosen to have a private service in consideration of others.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that anyone considering a memorial to consider Browning Masonic Community – Pathways Memory Care Unit of Waterville, Ohio or Village View Church of Christ in Bowling Green, Ohio.
