He was predeceased by: his parents, Ceriel Veryser and Anna Veryser (Maertens); his granddaughter Emily; his siblings, Fred and Sylvia; and his daughter-in-law Cindy.

He is survived by: his wife Sally Veryser (Bayer); his sons, Tim and Joe Veryser (Julie); his grandchildren, Ashley, Anna, Noah, Anthony, Thomas, Lauren, Alyssa and Kelly; and his great grandchild Addison.
