She was predeceased by: her father Clarence Shafer; her husband George Edward Hoffsis; her siblings, Robert James, Bob Shafer, Donald Shaffer, Keith Shafer, Harold Shafer, Nancy Himmler, Jean Akerman, Judy Simon and Joanne Oman; and her granddaughter Amanda Wittenmyer-Burrell.
She is survived by: her children, David Hoffsis (Mary) of Bowling Green, Thomas Hoffsis (Peggy) of Bowling Green, Robert Bruce Hoffsis of Bowling Green, Georgia Kay Roberts of Perrysburg, Robin Walton (Doug) of Jerry City and Ivy Hoffsis of Weston; and her brothers, Joe Shafer (Mabel) of Toledo and Gary Shafer (Pat) of The Villages, FL. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore and/or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
