With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George A. Knauss Jr. of Bowling Green, Ohio, who passed away on July 29, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Mae Knauss (Ireland) and George Adams Knauss Sr.; his brother-in-law Larry Loose; and his siblings, David Alan Knauss and Barbara Ann Loose (Knauss).
He is survived by: his son-in-law Patrick; his wife Anita Lynn Knauss (Ferrell) of Bowling Green; his mother-in-law Helen Miller (Ferrell) of Bowling Green; his children, Kelli Christine Gucciardo (Patrick) of Holland, Kimberly Ann Knauss of Avon and Adam Knauss of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Taylor of Kennedi, AJ, Tyler Gucciardo of Holland, OH, Zachary, Nicholas and Alexander Zwierecki of Avon; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Knauss of Oak Harbor; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Kira, Richard Jr. and Benjamin. He is also survived by numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Contributions in memory of George, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Wood County Humane Society, 801 Van Camp Road, Bowling Green, Ohio, to honor his love of animals and the numerous pets he adopted through the years.
