He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl K. Cotterman and Dorothy Cotterman (Rickard); and his siblings, Jack Cotterman, Sr., Judy Butler, Margaret Bean and Connie Rosenboom.
He is survived by: his children, Wesley Cotterman (Halie) of Columbus, Shawn Nickols of Bowling Green, LeAmber "Ricki" Zimmerman of Cygnet and Ashleigh Hernandez of Cygnet; his siblings, Carl Cotterman (Sue) of North Baltimore, Jerry Cotterman (Barb) of Colorado, Tom Cotterman (Beverly) of Indian Lake and Helen Heinze (Mike) of Swanton, OH; his sister-in-law Cheryl Cotterman of North Baltimore; and his grandchildren, Dakota Nickols, Garrett Wright, Jameson Young, Haydynn Young, Avery Wright and Roman Hernandez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
