He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy "Sam" Orville and Maymie Ellen Sergent (McCallister); his wife Kay Ann Schaller; his brothers, Russell Dennis Sergent, Doye Sergent and Dana Sergent; and his nephew Dane Sergent.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Sergent of Minneapolis, Dean Sergent (Amy) of Oklahoma City, Dana Nemeth (Michael) of Bowling Green and Delaine Adams (Tom) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Mirian "Mimi" Sergent-Leventhal (Mia Gil Epner), Ezra Sergent-Leventhal, David Sergent, Jonathan Sergent, Jack Sergent, Cole Nemeth, Miles Nemeth, Gwendolyn Landry (Michael Roberts) and Magdelin Landry; his stepgrandchildren, AJ Adams, Tabitha Adams and Kaitlin Pittman (Devin); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Avyn, Maeklin, Zayla, Raylee, Logan and Jaxson; his sisters, Dorothy Beauprez of Bowling Green and Kim Sergent of Michigan; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Sergent and Jane Sergent. He is also survived by loving his family, friends, and his kindness towards animals.
