Mekus (Bowling Green, Ohio), born in Deshler, Ohio, who passed away on August 29, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard Cavanaugh and Anna Zimmerman Cavanaugh; her husband John F. Mekus; her sons, John L. Mekus (Mona), David N. Mekus (Cathy) and Tom O. Mekus; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Falk, Adrienne Mekus, Zachary, Lara Mekus and John E. Mekus.
