Caroline Lanning Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline Lanning of Bowling Green, Ohio, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Boice and Irene Nancy Hall (Noblit); her husband William Eugene Lanning Sr.; her daughter Nancy Marie Durdel; her grandson Ryan Michael Rayner; and her siblings, Walter Boice, Minnie Conrad, Lucille Conrad, Lee Spears, Bill Boice, Norma Spears and Richard Lockmiller.
She is survived by: her children, LuAnn Lanning, Darlene Hecht and William Lanning; her son-in-law Larry Durdel; her foster son Michael; her grandchildren, Shad, Rod, Danielle, Amy, Lisa, Brad, Dustin, Heather and William; her siblings, Edward Lockmiller, Karen Neier (Lockmiller) and Byron "Lloyd" Hall; and her sister-in-law Lucy Lockmiller. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren.
Contributions in her honor to go to Shriners Hospital, St. Jude Children's Hospital and Wood County Hospital.
