He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur G. Groff and Dorothy M. Groff (Pearson); and his spouse Gail Adams. He is survived by: his children, Ándrea Chapman (Mark) of Holland, Nicholas Groff of New Castle, PA, Michelle Groff (Richard) of Tiffin, OH and Valerie Baum (Dave) of Bloomdale, OH; his grandchildren, Charea, Alexis, Elizzebeth, Nicholas, Alivia, Brooklinn, Colton, Hayden, Tyler, Ethan and Austin; and his siblings, Darlene Reed, Claudia Berresford, John Groff and Mary Hilliard. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Arthur's honor to Trinity United Methodist Church or to the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
