He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Elwood Caldwell and Betty Pauline Caldwell (Gibson); his brother Howard "Woody" Caldwell; and his sister-in-law Jackie Caldwell. He is survived by: his children, Jay Caldwell (Erica) and Christine Gallogly (Robert "Woodie" Dixon); his grandchildren, Lindsay Randulic (Trevor), Matthew Caldwell (Franna), Braden Caldwell (Bayleigh Roth) and Emmett Gallogly; his nephew Brock; his nieces, Ashley, Tiffany and Ellie; and his close friend Rick Cummings.
