He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph "Leroy" Sell and Twila Irene Sell (Russell); his wife Germaine Ann "Jerri" (Wires); and his son Samuel "Butch" Hidey. He is survived by: his children, Carol Owens, Sandra Miller (Steve), James Hidey (Tracy), Darla Handler (Aaron), Brenda Chaney (Paul) and Nicki Anno (Cecil); and his siblings, Austin Sell (Dawn), Bobbie Weaver, Coral Jeanne Johnson (Jon) and Patricia Ann Diamond (David). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Ralph would want his memory honored by having his friends take their family out to dinner together.
