He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Merrill "Gimmer" and Bessie Arminda Evans (Henary); his parents-in-law, Clyde and Frances Cecil; and his siblings, Ila Masters, Beatrice Warner, Mae Smith, Rosemary Evans and Paul Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Evans (Cecil); his children, Candy Brown (Pat), Jan Ault (Mike), Melissa Bevan (Rich) and Michael Evans (Becky); his grandchildren, Justin Evans, Brian Ault, Lisa Stanley, Kristine Abdel Basset, Alex Bevan and Sydny Richards; and his sister Marilyn Copeland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
