She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Grant and Lillian M. Shacklock Grant; her husband Roger K. Carpenter; her grandson Isaac Blake; and her brother Eugene "Barney" Grant.

She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Blake (Curtis) of Scio, OH., Nannette McMahon (Keith) of Jacobsburg, OH and Bridget Rowson (Kevin) of Key, OH; her grandchildren, Samantha Nisperly (Ryan), Jesse Carpenter (Emily), Aren McMahon (Bri), Randijo McMahon (Payden), Sidney Rowson, Bevin Rowson, Cody Blake and Zane Blake; and her siblings, Joyce Van Fossen (Larry) of Canal Fulton, OH., Phyllis Steen (Gary) of Barnesville, Janie Phillips of Cleveland, OH., Raymond Grant (Lori) of Jerusalem, OH., Darrell Grant (Donna) of Centerville, OH and Ernie Grant (Mary) of Centerville, OH. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
