He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Graydon Hendershott and Jean Hendershott (White); his close friend A. Marie Arkenburgh; his siblings, Graydon Hendershott of Canton, Robert Hendershott, David Hendershott (Judy) and Cynthia Anderson; his sister-in-law Shirley Hendershott of Minerva; his son Eugene "Sonny" Arkenburgh (Diana) of Canton; his daughter-in-law Martha Arkenburgh of Louisville; his brother William Hendershott; and his children, Lisa Arkenburgh and William Arkenburgh. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
