She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Smith and Pearl M. Smith (Homan). She is survived by: her husband Max Byers; her children, Charles Smith of Bowerston, Amber Budd (Josh) of New Philadelphia and Melissa Byers; her grandchildren, Haley, Robert, Michael Smith, Hadley Renicker-Spears, Maylynn Renicker and Alexander Lawrence; her siblings, Mary Gold (Jeff), James Smith, Howard Smith (Sharon) and Kenneth Smith; and her brother-in-law Chris Byers (Teresa). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
