He is survived by: his children, Katherine Hoying (Philip) and Alex Hemmert of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Ellie, Callen, Vance and Deacon Hoying; his brothers, Dave Hemmert (Diane), Al Hemmert (Cathy) of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Steve Hemmert (Eileen) and Mark Hemmert (Beth); and his siblings-in-law, Rick Kohnen of Centerville, OH, Jan Slankard (Jim) of Sandy Valley, NV, Ruth Bruns of Dayton, OH, Vicki Leimbach (Bob) of Vermillion, OH, Mike Bruns (late Mary) of Minster, OH and Paul Bruns (Beck) of Maria Stein, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
