He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Place Sr. (Clark); and his brother Darren Place. He is survived by: his father William Place; his wife Sally Place (Pulfer) of Bluffton; his children, Angela Burkholder (Brian Fochtman) of Bluffton, Kyle Place (Brooke) of Bluffton, Amanda Missler (Travis) of Bluffton and Kory Place (Taylor Marsh) of Bluffton; his grandchildren, Savana Missler, Tysen Missler, Lochlan Place, Deklan Missler, Owen Missler, Brynn Place and Masen Missler; and his siblings, Joyce Vivian (Steve) of Glandorf, Amos Place (Julie) of Glandorf and Jason Place (Justice) of Delphos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
