She was predeceased by: her father Loren Bassitt; her husband Leland Garmatter; and her siblings, Thomas "Skip" Bassitt, Richard "Rocket" Bassitt and Susan Henline.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqui Benroth (Mel) of Columbus Grove, Scott Garmatter (Kim) of Bluffton, Eric Garmatter (Julie) of Bluffton, Jill Rumer (Tony) of Bluffton and Curt Garmatter of Columbus Grove; her grandchildren, Ryan Benroth (Liz), Jacob Garmatter, Joshua Garmatter, Adrian Bricker (Austin), Bret Rumer (Madeline), Averey Rumer, Baylor Garmatter, Brinkley Garmatter, Laykin Garmatter, Klarissa Garmatter, Kalyn Garmatter, Karsyn Garmatter, Cade Garmatter, Darby Benroth (Jen) and Jori Shoemaker (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Owen, Addi Shoemaker, Bodey, Barrett Benroth, Ayden, Ainsley Benroth, Valery, Lincoln, Vanna Rumer and Haven Bricker; and her siblings, Bill Bassitt (Nancy) of Wapakoneta and Sally Fruchey (Roger) of Columbus Grove.
