He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bowersox and Anna Bowersox (Gorby); and his siblings, Richard, Kenneth, Earl, John Jr., Ruth Schoonover and Dorothy Edinger.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma M. Welty; his children, Larry Bowersox (Tricia) of Avon and Nancy Thomas (Garry) of Mt. Cory; his grandchildren, Holly Kessler (Bowersox) of Avon Lake, OH, Nathan Thomas of Arlington, OH and Emily Thomas (Findley); his great grandchildren, Jeffery Kessler, Jaden Thomas and Austin Thomas; and his sister Elinor Burkholder of Bluffton.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Cory United Methodist Church.
