He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Milton and Mary Jane McDowell (Roberts); his father-in-law Richard Miles; his brother-in-law Scott Miles, Sr.; and his aunt Wanda McDowell.
He is survived by: his wife Robin McDowell (Miles) of Bluffton; his stepchildren, Joleen Youngpeter (Anthony) of Bluffton and Nathan Klingler (Ashley) of Bluffton; his grandchildren, Daniel, Julian and Cora Lou Klingler; his brothers, Dean McDowell and Shawn McDowell of Baltimore, MD; his mother-in-law Ruth Miles of Findlay; his sisters-in-law, Rochel Swartz (Tony) of Fostoria and Darlene Miles of Findlay; and his cousins, Steve Roberts (Cathy) of Columbus Grove, Ken Roberts (Marge) of Columbus Grove, Jeff Roberts of Columbus Grove and Doug Roberts of Columbus Grove.
